Shipping policy


All orders are usually processed within 2 to 3 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped, or is ready to collect if you have chosen to Pick Up your order.

Once an order has been despatched, delivery time is defined by the carrier and we have no control over the time it can take. The dates are just estimates based on published guidelines and information and we aren't responsible if they miss their own targets or mess up along the way!

At our discretion, we may choose to use an alternative carrier to Royal Mail, for example UPS or DPD. However, we will not charge you any more than the prices in the table above irrespective of which company delivers your order.

Our Free Shipping offer usually utilises Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. At our discretion, we may choose to use an alternative carrier depending on the circumstances, delivery location, size and/or weight of the parcel.


Please Note :: some items of significant size and/or weight are not included in the Free Shipping offer. The shipping cost for those items is referenced in the individual product's description.



In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our shop in The Piece Hall, Halifax. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 4pm Sunday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

If you want someone else to collect your order we may require proof of their ID as well as the order confirmation and it would be a good idea to let us know in advance!

International Shipping

At this time, we are sorry to say that we do not ship to any location outside of the UK.


How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 14 working days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at retail@mysticalandmagical.co.uk with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Sorry but we cannot ship to P.O. boxes.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at retail@mysticalandmagical.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will always try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
